We loved our experience at Li28oa. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The service was also top notch. Riccardo was very personable and friendly. Awesome spot in Alfama.
Fantastic oasis of individual charm and excellent food, amongst the generic more tourist orientated establishments in the area. There is no pressurised sales pitch but relies on excellent location, great food and fantastic service. Sat outside on lovely terrace for lunch and enjoyed a mix of starters. Best food and service we had during our stay in Lisbon .
I enjoyed this restaurant on two occasions as it is housed in the hotel where I am staying. I had the pork cheeks and steak. Both were expertly prepared and delicious. The wine offered complemented both meals.
Ricardo was a great host and the food was excellent. We each had a different main course including the Pumpkin Risotto, Cod, Steak, and Ricardo recommended I have the Pork Cheeks, which exceeded my expectations! Ricardo also provided some good local recommendations for our trip to Sintra (his hometown)
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious but the stand out was definitely the braised pork cheek! Definitely recommend hitting this place up while you’re in Lisbon as it was one of our best meals here!
This restaurant is worth a visit for sure! A nice cozy feeling with cool ambient music. Ricardo the owner took the time to explain the dishes and was very personable which added to the wonderful experience. We started off with the charred padròn peppers as an appetizer - and these were quite tasty (honey, salt and olive oil). For a main course we had the cod fish á assis which was delicately cooked with splintered potatoes, olives and tomatoes. It was prepared well and delicious. As the top dish we had the stewed pork cheeks with celery purè and grilled asparagus. It was incredible to say the least. No knife required as the pork fell apart and melted in my mouth. The au jus was very tasty and complemented the meat. I would have had two dishes if we had more time, it was that good.Come support a new Lisbon restaurant with great chefs and a kind, generous ownerAsk about the flaming cognac - a sight to see ans taste. Thx from
Everything was delicious. The garlic prawns were so good, I could have eaten them as a meal (instead of as a starter). The Pimientos de Padron also uniquely had honey on them which gave them a great flavor.Very friendly and helpful owner as well!
We just had a wonderful dinner on the terrace. The dishes were rather small but really delicious. The service was extremely nice and we had a wonderful time!
